Social Guardian Foundation is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) that envisions "REBUILDING THE FUTURE" by providing humanitarian aid to marginalized sections of the society. Following the principles of Humanitarian Aid, Relief, Healthcare, and Education; the foundation continues to provide livelihoods, disaster relief, healthcare, and education to all. Founded by Ushmeet Singh, it is a non-profit, tax-exemption organization that works towards alleviating the underprivileged lives and helping the ones in need.
Social Guardian Foundation is an 80 G-certified organization that is currently working in Delhi, NCR to extend their support to society through their selfless activities. Inspired by the ‘Sikh ideology’ of “sewa” (selfless service) and “sarbat da bhalla” (blessings for everyone), we seek a world of people living with dignity by playing our part for the protection of the humanitarian space. We have been constantly running Campaigns for empowering the vulnerable sections of society and extending our support towards our brothers and sisters in critical times. The core volunteers of our foundation are constantly practicing this Humanitarian endeavor of serving society and empowering people in every possible way.
Owing to the roots of a family associated with social welfare, Ushmeet Singh ingrained the principles of selfless services and identified his zeal to support people. His inspiration for charity stems from witnessing his family taking part in social works. He himself has been contributing to addressing various issues of vulnerable groups long before this foundation was formed. He used to participate diligently in various activities towards building an enlightened society. Soon, he realized his strong desire to play his part in empowering a bigger humanitarian space by practicing the principles of “sewa”, which persuaded him to lay the foundation of this organization.
